We’re all really excited about the Abinger Medieval Fair coming up on Saturday 9th June. It’s always a great family day of fun, with lots to do, raising money for local amenities and charities, and it’s a hugely popular event. The Fair takes place over the road from the pub on the Abinger Common and it has its origins in Medieval Times. It kicks off at 2pm with the Procession before finishing with the Grand Prize Draw just before 5pm. There’s lots to see and do with stalls, activities and displays going on throughout the afternoon.
Our barbecue will be lit all day for those who want to break from the festivities, served outside, and our usual A La Carte menu will be available inside all day. Please note there will be limited parking for the pub on this date – parking for the Fair is in two nearby fields and will be clearly signposted.
